I have the hardest time committing to coats! Essentially it is the same 'outfit' I'll be seen in over and over again (all those wasted outfits hiding underneath!) This wrap coat is neutral, doubled-up, fleecy and cozy! I paired it with these structured but comfortable Japanese wool pants and a wrinkled white shirt- those wrinkles kept this from being too stuffy.

I took these pics on my dear friend Nicky's terrace. She's a great listener and is so generous with her time and energy. Her daughter and mine are besties in school which is priceless. Nicky is one of the people who encouraged me to start blogging. Her happy confidence is powerful! I am so lucky to have a handful of precious friends who believe in me and love me, who support me and tell me how it is, and then let me do all that back for them in return, keep me warmer and happier than a million wrap coats!
