The A-Number One rule as a resident of New York City is never, never, NEVER approach a celebrity. I've seen so many and have followed this rule every single time, except today. NYC is the place to truly live and let live! Anyway let me see if I can remember in all the years I've lived here who I've seen: Soledad O'Brien at the ice rink with her kids, Hoda Kotb walking her dog, Veronica Webb trick or treating with her girls, SJP herSELF playing at the park, Harvey Kietel, Clare Daines shoe shopping, Bethenny Frankel at the park with her then-husband and daughter... so random. The list goes on and on!
Well today I broke that rule. A male celebrity (seen in many movies!) was walking by and said, "you look pretty!" and then turned the corner. So after a second I went after him and asked to take a picture. What was I thinking? He politely declined and we parted- I was so embarrassed! I broke that rule, and sure enough regretted it!
This peacoat is so comfy and sweet- it fits really large, almost oversized. I loved it paired with this varsity sweater style silk blouse. There's something nice about a look smacking of some prep. Just don't bother the famous folks, 'kay?
